Classroom Expectations:
The CAD LAB is a place of learning and creation. You are expected to follow the rules of the classroom in addition to the rules of the school.
Electronic Device Policy:
Cell phones, ipods, ipads, laptops are not allowed to be used during class time. There may be times where we will utilize these devices for class. At those times it will be announced and usage will be allowed as long as students use them responsibly.
Class participation:
Three points will be deducted from your class participation grade for the day if you fail to follow any of the classroom rules. Some examples of inappropriate conduct are as follows:

- RESPECT- This is the most important classroom rule! I will show you respect and you should show me respect in turn. Please be respectful of your classmates, their opinions and differences. Be respectful of your work. Take pride in the work that you do and you will excel.
- PROMPTNESS- Please arrive to class on time. Lateness disrupts the flow of the class for everyone. If you must be late to meet with a teacher or counselor, please bring a pass.
- BE PREPARED AND ORGANIZED- Please arrive with all of your supplies for class. Keep all of your supplies well organized so that you can find them as soon as you enter the room.
- PRODUCTIVITY- As soon as you arrive in class, sit down, login into your computer, begin work on a current project or be prepared to listen to lecture.
- PAY ATTENTION- Listen quietly to all instructions and questions. Listen to your classmates when they are speaking. If you have a question or comment, PLEASE RAISE YOUR HAND, do not call out.
- CLEANLINESS- Please keep your computer area neat and clean. Be sure to return chair to their computer station.
- NO FOOD OR DRINKS- You may not eat or drink in the classroom. This includes chewing gum.
- DISMISSAL- At the end of the period, remain seated until I dismiss you.

- Not working on assignment or current class project
- Foul language
- Insulting or making fun of other students. (This is considered bullying)
- Arguing with the teacher or other students.
- Speaking disrespectfully to the teacher or other students.
- Arriving late to class without a pass - late means after the late bell has rung.
- Not having the supplies you need for class.
- Talking when the teacher is speaking or when other students are speaking.
- Talking and yelling across the room.
- Hitting each other or any other type of horseplay.
- Failure to clean up your area before you leave.
- Eating or drinking in the classroom.
- Leaving the room without permission.
- Using your cell phone at unauthorized times.
- Listening to music at unauthorized times.
